Hundred Waters - Boreal
Hundred Waters is a band formed in Gainesville, FL. on Skrillex’s OWSLA record label. The video for their song Boreal is set in pre-colonial Florida, featuring a Skunk Ape who is being hunted by a young indigenous boy.
Blending 4K digital video with 8mm Film, the music video was shot on location in Fern Forest Nature Preserve & Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. The famous Weeki Wachee Mermaid troupe is featured in the video.
Directed by Mayer \ Leyva. Produced by Jonathan David Kane. Cinematography by Juan Camilo Barriga. The video was released digitally by Pitchfork, and was later featured as a Staff Pick by Vimeo.
