Boniato

An illegal migrant worker decides it's time to move on from picking crops and find her father. Little does she know, insidious supernatural forces have a different plan for her. Some borders aren't meant to be crossed.

Boniato is a short horror film by Eric Mainade and the Meza-Valdes Brothers, starring Carmela Zumbado and Felix Cortes. The film won numerous awards on the horror film festival circuit and was selected to screen in the Midnight Shorts program at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
